  • Age 7 to 10- sang in Pentecostal choir, Baptist Church, San Antonio, TX
  • Age 12- Moved over to Spanish guitar from steel guitar.
  • Age 14- Began as guitar instructor, giving lessons to youth in the Marin County community.
